The research examines the impact of IT governance on business-IT alignment and investment performance to achieve firm business value. is a essential part system interrelated resources where level value depends degree systems fit or misfit. This study drawn related literature in governance, performance, sample 34 commercial banks telecommunication companies Sri Lanka participated this study. Accordingly, findings proved proposed hypotheses are supported except hypothesis 3. first that facilitates create better - alignment. second practices improved for businesses. fourth confirmed In contrary expectation, third failed support. implications also suggested from finding.
